Harry’s Rainbow announce their 10th Birthday ball to celebrate supporting bereaved children for a decade!
The team are planning to bring Harry’s Wonderland 10th Birthday Ball on 15th October 2022, delayed by a year due to the pandemic. Their 10th Birthday was in October 2021 when they announced that they had supported 480 bereaved children. Their services include facilitated Rainbow groups, short breaks and memory boxes to children and their families in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Since the pandemic services have extended to include Therapeutic Mentoring, Wellbeing packs and supporting young adults up to age 25.
CEO Odette says “We can’t wait to finally celebrate with friends and supporters of our charity. Our ball aims to fundraise and to also celebrate our achievements as well as those of the many who’ve dedicated themselves to our charity. We have some really exciting plans up our sleeves with our theme, which is based on Alice in Wonderland! “
The parents of Harry Mould founded Harry’s Rainbow after he died aged just 5 years old. The experience they had in finding local child-centred support for Harry’s twin sister Jessica drove them to start a child bereavement charity. They were also keen to raise awareness of the needs and services available to bereaved children.
“I had no idea what the past ten years had in store for us, but I was just passionate about other families receiving the help and support they need at the most difficult time. We could not have got this far without countless supporters believing in and getting behind our cause. Thank you”
For this black-tie event, tickets are £75 per person. Guests will enjoy a 3-course meal, welcome drink and entertainment and tickets can be reserved for just £25.
