Think Food Café in the heart of Wolverton has just announced an exciting new role for a Café Supervisor as the cafe plans to reopen.
by Emma Johnson on behalf of Think Food
Think Food is just one of the fantastic social enterprises established through MK Christian Foundation. It is staffed by young people not in education, training or employment. These young people gain essential work experience and qualifications.
Goals of the Cafe
The goal of the café is to help change how we eat and what we eat.
The cafe produces great tasting, reasonably priced food and brings people together from across our local community.
The menus focus on vegetarian and vegan recipes, using as much locally sourced, fresh, seasonal and fairly traded produce as possible. They also aim to minimise food waste and miles as well as show that we can eat well on a budget.
The Role – Think Food Cafe Supervisor
The team is looking for a café supervisor.
This role is perfect for someone looking:
- for sociable works hours within the hospitality industry.
- to be part of a friendly café team to serve good coffee, freshly baked bread, sandwiches and cake.
- to work with inspiring young people.
The café places good customer service at the heart of what they do. Of course, you’ll need a passion for sharing your knowledge and skills with the young people working with you because this role will include managing the front of house team. It will also involve preparing barista coffees, tea, cakes and toasted sandwiches while maintaining a clean and tidy café space.
Come and work with Think Food!
